Making the most of your well-deserved and hard-earned vacation time since 2001.
Why choose us
Without a doubt, Canadian Rocky Mountain is one of the most amazing places in the world
to canoe, view wildlife of all kinds and escape to the rejuvenating embrace of the natural world. But you want to know what makes us special? Here are some highlights of why you won’t be disappointed if you join a tour with Paddle Bandit Outdoor Escapes.
Our trip philosophy
We want you to fall in love with all outdoor activities and the mountain, and this passion shows in everything we do. We don’t cut corners, we always put forth a 100% effort and we are always trying to improve. Vacations should be safe, fun, educational and of course environmentally friendly!
We live year-round where we work and play, so we know our area inside and out. We love it here, and it shows in the way we run our trips.
Sustainable, environmentally friendly and green
We aim to be a leader in responsible and sustainable tourism and business practices. There are many ways that we minimize our impact, green our operations and contribute to the communities we live and work in. Learn more about our extensive Green Initiatives.

Historic log cabins
Winter at Paddle Bandit is magical! Abundant snow, ambiance, roaring fires, great meals and cozy log cabins. Guests can borrow snowshoes and poles from the lodge and explore the stunning mountain trails. Three major park ski hills are located approximately 25 minutes from the lodge. Cross country ski trails are abundant in the area and horse drawn sleigh rides, dog sledding and canyon ice walks are among some of the other winter activities in the National Park.
“Now I know why they are called bandits... They kidnap you from your crazy, busy everyday life and set you free into the wild! It's a refreshing and vitalizing experience... Like you're born again!”
